Baker, Knapp & Tubbs, a Kohler Company and leading manufacturer, distributor and retailer of high-end furniture, is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented leader to join our team as a Director of Stores. The Director of Stores is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction and business strategy for 14 store locations. These responsibilities include: managing store sales performance, store operations, developing store managers, ensuring a high-level customer service experience and building relationships. The Director of Stores will also implement store sales incentives and training programs, manage vendor relationships and execute marketing and merchandising programs for all store locations.

A background in wholesale, furniture or interior design is ideal. There will be frequent contact with customers, vendors, shippers and designers. Proven results though leadership, building relationships and motivating a team is imperative to an individual’s success in this role. Previous multi-site, managerial experience and a Bachelor’s degree are required.
